The Kelly Cole Group is a design consortium founded in 2007 in which core members Kelly Cole and Robert Montalbano, work in collaboration with expert associates. This unique agency model allows for a design team selected to meet the specific needs of each project. We specialize in an improvisational approach to design, working with the client to intelligently allocate budget to achieve optimum functional and aesthetic integrity. We go to great lengths to eliminate "middlemen" in the sourcing process to provide clients with the maximum value for their budget.
As a designer, founder Kelly Cole has consulted on numerous commercial and residential projects, overseeing the 1992 renovation of the legendary Palladium in New York, and designing his successful New York Venues SPY and BLACK AND WHITE, as well as his award winning retail space Lo-Fi in Los Angeles.
Robert Montalbano has enjoyed 20 years in set design. He has worked with some of the top directors and production designers on hundreds of television shows and commercials. In 2005-07 he was the Decorator for two television shows for Super Delicious Productions. His transition into interiors came immediately following with the co-founding of the Kelly Cole Group. Robert Montalbano’s experience in the industry has fire-hardened him to working with a variety of personalities in a timely manner to get the job done on budget.
